1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of empirescottsdale.com (the “site”). The site is operated by Desert Defenestration LLC dba Empire Scottsdale (“Empire”, “we”, “us”), 3625 N Bishop Ln, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Memberships, bookings and events

The site describes Empire’s memberships, rooms and event spaces. It is not itself an offer or a contract. Memberships, room bookings, event rentals and sponsorships are governed by the separate agreement you sign or accept when you book or join, and those agreements control if anything here differs. Prices, amenities and availability shown on the site may change without notice, and add-on services such as A/V, staging and seating are billed separately.

Members’ events are private to Empire members and their invited guests. Admission to any event is at our discretion.

3. Payments

Payments made through links on the site are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Please enter the exact amount you have been asked to pay, including any tax or fees.

4. Visiting Empire

When you visit Empire you agree to follow our house rules and staff instructions, and to treat other guests with kindness and respect. Bar service is limited to guests 21 and over with valid ID. We may refuse entry or ask anyone to leave.

Photography. Events at Empire are often photographed and filmed. By attending, you agree that we may use images in which you appear on our website and social media. If you would rather not be photographed, tell a member of staff, or contact us and we will remove images of you from our channels where we can.

5. Using the site

You may use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or the services linked from it, or use automated means to copy its content at scale.

6. Our content

Text, photographs, video, logos and design on the site belong to Empire or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to the site, but you may not reproduce our content without written permission. Sponsor names and logos belong to their owners.

7. Links to other services

The site links to services run by others, including HubSpot, OfficeRnD, Stripe, SlickText, YouTube and our sponsors’ websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empire and Desert Defenestration LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date.
